How many adverts can I respond to?

Offered Ads

How do I delete an advert?
- From your account homepage, click on "Manage ads" and click on "delete" under the ad you want to delete. Remember, if you delete an ad, there is no way to restore it. If you simply want to remove the ad from the site you can click on "expire" instead

What happens to my ad when my subscription runs out?
- Your ad will remain unchanged on the site until it expires.

What is an offered advertisement?
- An "offered" advertisment is where a user is offering accommodation in a property.

- DSS stands for Department of Social Security and is a type of housing benefit.

How many adverts can I post at a time?
- As a standard or Premium Member you can only post one advert at a time. To post more you must upgrade to Ultra membership.

Registration

I have not received my confirmation code
- Make sure that you have entered the correct email address as any errors will result in the confirmation email not getting to you. Also check that it has not been filtered by junk mail. It might be a good idea to add the domain "expressflatshare.co.uk" to your safelist. You can resend the confiramtion email at any time from the confirmation screen.

I have received the confirmation code email, what do I do with it?
- Before you can use the Express Flatshare service you must first confirm your email address by either clicking on the link in the email or by entering the confirmation code on screen when requested.

How do I confirm my registration?
- By clicking on the link in the confirmation email or by entering the confirmation code from the email into the relevant field on the confirmation screen.

How long should the confirmation email take to get to my inbox?
- The confirmation email is sent to you immediatley however it can take up to 15 minutes to be received by some mail clients.

Wanted Ads

Why can't I renew my ad?
- You can only renew an ad up to 3 days before it expires. If you ad is about to expire, the renew button will automatically appear

How do I remove an advert?
- From your account homepage, click on "Manage ads" to view your current live ads. You can either click on "delete" to remove your ad permanently or "expire" to stop it appearing in any search results

What is a wanted advertisement?
- A "wanted" advertisment is posted by those looking for a particular flat. You can browse the wanted listings to see if their is a suitable condiate for your spare room.
